Description
Multi-Turn Intelligent Electric Actuator Overview
You can integrate the BD301-IIC multi-turn intelligent electric actuator into any automation network because Suzhou Bonray designed it with multiple control modes and fieldbus options. This multi-turn intelligent actuator accepts analog (4‑20 mA), digital (Profibus‑DP, Modbus, HART, DeviceNet, FF), and dry‑contact signals. The factory‑built non‑intrusive interface lets you configure parameters using a magnetic knob or infrared tool. The multi-turn intelligent actuator displays valve position, torque, and alarm messages on a high‑visibility LCD. With IP68 dual sealing and explosion‑proof variants, this device works reliably in wet, dusty, or hazardous areas. Whether you need remote manual control, automatic positioning, or ESD override, the BD301‑IIC multi-turn intelligent electric actuator gives you total command.

How many control modes does this multi-turn intelligent electric actuator support?
Seven modes: field local (inching/hold), remote switching (point/hold), remote analog (4‑20 mA automatic), ESD, fieldbus digital, two‑wire (signal‑open/signal‑close), and intermittent operation.
Multi-Turn Intelligent Electric Actuator Features
Seven Control Modes in One Device
Field control: Use the rotary knob or infrared setter for local inching or hold.
Remote switching: Three inputs (open, close, stop/hold) for manual remote.
Remote analog: 4‑20 mA for automatic positioning.
ESD: Overrides all other commands.
Fieldbus: Profibus, Modbus, etc. for digital networks.
Two‑wire: “Signal open / no‑signal close” or reverse logic.
Intermittent: Start‑stop motion to prevent fluid hammer.

Absolute Encoding Sensors
The multi-turn intelligent actuator uses a BM18 multi‑turn absolute encoder for position and a separate absolute encoder for torque. Both use non‑contact technology, so they never wear out and do not need batteries.
Automatic Phase Correction
You do not worry about phase sequence. The actuator detects incoming phase rotation and corrects it internally. This feature also protects the multi-turn intelligent actuator from phase loss.
Configurable Relay Outputs
Four S‑series bistable relays (S1‑S4) and optional R‑series monostable relays (R1‑R4) let you send valve status (open/close, torque, moving, mid‑position) to your control room. You set each contact’s behavior via the menu.
ESD with Priority Logic
You decide the ESD action: open, close, or lock. You also choose whether ESD overrides motor thermal protection. The multi-turn intelligent electric actuator responds instantly to emergency signals.
Model and Type
The BD301-IIC on-off multi-turn intelligent electric actuator lacks proportional control and is permitted only under the following conditions: operating frequency ≤ 60 cycles per hour, single continuous operation duration ≤ 15 minutes, and operating duty cycle ≤ 33.3%.
The BD301-IIC intermittent modulating multi-turn intelligent electric actuator features proportional control. Its applicable conditions are: operating frequency ≤ 60 cycles per hour (for three-phase models, the short-term operating frequency can reach up to 600 cycles per hour), continuous operation time ≤ 15 minutes, and duty cycle ≤ 33.3%.
