Description

Multi-turn High Torque Actuator Overview

The BD150-IIC multi-turn high torque actuator from Bonray delivers precise valve control for demanding industrial processes. This multi-turn high torque actuator integrates absolute encoding sensors, non‑intrusive magnetic controls, and a dual‑sealed IP68 housing. Our factory in Suzhou, China, engineers each multi-turn high torque actuator to withstand harsh environments, from chemical plants to offshore platforms. With torque ratings from 50 N·m to 3,000 N·m (expandable to 30,000 N·m via W‑series gearboxes), this multi-turn high torque actuator supports multi‑turn, part‑turn, and linear stroke configurations. The device displays real‑time torque, valve position, and alarms on a dot‑matrix LCD, while you configure parameters without opening the cover. Whether you need on‑off duty or high‑frequency modulating control, the BD‑IIC/BDM‑IIC multi-turn high torque actuator provides reliable, maintenance‑friendly operation.

Can the factory supply a version for high‑temperature or high‑vibration environments?

Yes. Bonray offers the BD‑IICF/BDM‑IICF split‑type multi-turn intelligent electric actuator. The control unit mounts remotely (up to 100 m from the valve) via a factory‑supplied cable. This protects sensitive electronics from heat or vibration.

Multi-turn High Torque Actuator Features

Non‑Intrusive Magnetic Knob Operation
You adjust all settings using the external rotary knob or an infrared setter. Magnets activate Hall sensors inside the sealed housing. You never open the electrical cover, so dust and moisture stay out of the multi-turn intelligent electric actuator.

Dual‑Seal Enclosure (IP68)
The terminal box uses a double‑seal construction. Even when you remove the cover for wiring, a secondary seal blocks contaminants. Our factory tests every multi-turn high torque actuator for 48 hours under 2 meters of water.

Lifetime Lubrication
High‑grade grease fills the planetary gear train. You never add oil or grease. This reduces maintenance costs over the 10+ year life of the multi-turn intelligent electric actuator.

Planetary Gear Transmission
The actuator uses helical plus planetary gears instead of worm gears. This design improves mechanical efficiency by more than 30% and allows simultaneous manual and electric operation without a clutch.

Absolute Torque Sensor
A patented non‑contact absolute encoder measures real‑time output torque. You set torque protection limits (30% to 100%) via the menu. The multi-turn high torque actuator protects your valve from jamming.

Configurable ESD Override
Emergency shutdown signals bypass local and remote commands. You program the multi-turn electric intelligent actuator to close, open, or lock in place on ESD. Choose high‑level or low‑level active.
